Which Size Is Right for Your Wall?

Every piece in the Kitchen Folk Art Collection is real art — authentic, vibrant, collectible, and framed in real wood, built to last. Here's how to pick the right size for your space.

24×36 — The Accent Piece

About the size of a large TV or a door laid on its side. Best for:

  • Console tables and small vignettes
  • Gallery wall groupings
  • Compact spaces that still deserve a genuine pop of color

30×40 — The Workhorse

Roughly the width of a loveseat or a 3-drawer dresser. Our most versatile size:

  • Over a sofa or loveseat (up to ~72" wide) — a single anchor piece
  • Over a fireplace with a shorter mantle (48–54") — art should be about 2/3 the mantle width for balance
  • Dining walls, hallways, and kitchen "dead walls" — organic, vibrant character without overwhelming the room

40×60 — The Statement Piece

Nearly as tall as a standard interior door. This is the size that makes someone stop the moment they walk in:

  • Entryways — the classic "walk-in-and-see-it" placement
  • Over a large sofa or sectional (84"+ wide) — properly anchors a big room
  • Wide fireplace mantles (60"+) with room to breathe
  • Bars, restaurants, cafes, man caves, and barndominiums — passion and real quality on a scale that commands the room

Note: for kitchens, we recommend hanging art away from direct range/cooktop heat and grease — a nearby dining or accent wall keeps the piece vibrant and made to last.

Still not sure? Every size ships ready to hang, framed in a real wood Espresso floating frame with hanging wire included.
